Palacio Municipal (Municipal Palace)

Built on top of what was the old government building (Audiencia). The present structure dates fro the beginning of the 20th century with strong resemblances of the neo-classic Porfirian architecture, itself inspired by the French style in fashion at the time. In the interior, there is a patio with an exquisite marble stairway as well as beautiful salons.
